Impact Corner is a social movement, an international nonprofit organization based in Zurich, Switzerland, which supports social ventures aimed at tackling issues with regards to poverty, health, education and the environment. The main objective is to break the cycle of dependency in order to create sustainable solutions. Impact Corner empowers people in need to solve the problems by themselves. It achieves this by incubating and supporting social ventures. After a thorough due diligence, Impact Corner provides these enterprises with the financial means, the network, know-how and coaching necessary to ensure a sustainable and ideally replicable solution, where people in need are empowered to live a self-determined life. Jobs are being created and funds generated from these businesses contribute to the development of the local community. The people once in need gain power over their situation - and more! By sharing their knowledge and resources with other communities yet struggling, they play an important role in amplifying the positive impact when we start replicating the concept also in other locations. In turn, these other communities, once settled, pass on their support as well. A movement is ignited, spreading around the world, passing on the good. Because we will not stop until social and environmental issues are eradicated!
