Welcome to the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein, the official platform of the United Nations Global Compact Initiative in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. We seek to promote responsible business practices by stimulating multi-stakeholder dialogue, providing knowledge, tools and mutual learning for businesses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein to engage in corporate responsibility

and sustainability. We support companies to align their corporate strategies and operations with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption and to take actions to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As 2024 comes to an end we wish to share some moments from one of this years highlights - the Global Compact Dialogue💬

We had the pleasure of welcoming many of our participants as well as business leaders, government representatives and civil society experts.

The Global Compact Dialogue provided a platform for dynamic discussions through a panel discussion with industry experts.

To get a chance to deep dive into topics of interest we held three parallel workshops respectively about ensuring living wages, driving gender equality in the workplace and science-based climate action.

We wish to once again thank everyone involved and all those attending for making the General Assembly a memorable highlight of our year!

Navigating human rights in global supply chains presents a variety of challenges for companies. A key role in integrating human rights standards into purchasing practices is procurement.

We are excited to invite UN Global Compact participants to in-person workshops in Zurich (4 February) and Geneva (6 February) where we will explore the connection between procurement and human rights as well as give practical examples.

Hear more about our study with UNICEF Schweiz Suisse Svizzera Liechtenstein on "Children's Rights and Finance" at the in Geneva. We will introduce our findings on how the financial industry in Switzerland and Liechtenstein can positively and negatively impact children's rights.

Our fishbowl discussion on the topic will be held on December 11 at 10:00 in Room 9.

The Building Bridges conference will take place on 9-12 December 2024 at the Centre International de Conférences Genève.
