ROKPA INTERNATIONAL is an NGO that supports destitute people in Nepal, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

ROKPA INTERNATIONAL is a registered charity, founded in 1980 by Dr. Akong Tulku Rinpoche, a Tibetan Doctor and Teacher, Ms. Lea Wyler, a Swiss actress, and her father, the well-known Swiss lawyer Dr. Veit Wyler. The international headquarters are in Zurich, Switzerland with national headquarters and branches in 15 countries.

Chamsing La - HH Karmapa‘s Sister honored our ROKPA Children’s Home with her visit. She spoke to the children from her heart and gave meaningful and very helpful advice. She kindly answered their questions so they felt heard and understood.
We are deeply grateful to her for a visit that was both deeply meaningful and fun!
Thanks also to her retinue - the two Lamas and Michele Martin!

Happy Friday and a wonderful weekend from us at ROKPA Headquarters!

This gem of a picture was taken in 2014 at our ROKPA Children's Home. These former kids have grown into wonderful young adults who are still connected to ROKPA to this day. A bond that shows very well what our work stands for. ❤️
