Starting this month, we’re hosting our After-Work Drinks every LAST THURSDAY of the month at the lovely Vergani Löwenplatz! 🥂
And the best part? Our very first one is happening on THURSDAY, MAY 28 at 18:00! 🙌🔥

Whether you’re a long-time member or brand new to the community, come hang out, meet amazing people, and unwind with us after a long week. New faces are ALWAYS welcome! 💛🧡

On April 24, we mourn and honor the loss of our 1.5 million martyrs who died during the Armenian Genocide. Today, Armenians worldwide pause to reflect on the atrocities of the time and the painful realities we continue to face as a people. We must not forget the past as we forge into the future and reaffirm our commitment to our identity as global Armenians.

Dear community 🤍

Still smiling about our cooking get-together at Mühlerama! From chopping and stirring at the different stations to the laughs and chats in between, it all came together in the best way, and sharing the meal at the end felt like one big family table. Thank you for showing up and bringing such a great vibe.

A special highlight: we had the pleasure of hosting the amazing Anush Amirkhanian, founder of Sari-Safran who led the group in preparing butter cookies with saffron.
And wow, they were unforgettable ✨🍪

Today, on Christmas, AGBU is thankful for everyone who donated to and participated in our initiatives to change the lives of those in need and those seeking to improve. We look forward to celebrating the holidays in the homeland next month.

The Armenian Apostolic Church, as an institution, has sustained the Armenian identity for centuries. Just as importantly, Holy Etchmiadzin, which lies within the borders of the Republic of Armenia but serves the faithful worldwide, is independent and must remain so.

We ask that the lines be clear: that the Republic of Armenia move forward with its own self-governance in accordance with its constitution and the will of the voting citizenry, and that the Armenian Apostolic Church move forward with its own governance processes, responsible for any future reforms and self-assessment. This self-inflicted crisis is impacting the Armenian faithful while harming the relationship between the Republic of Armenia and the Diaspora.

We write this not to adjudicate the past but to move forward with rapprochement….We have already appealed to the highest levels of the clergy worldwide to draw a line between spiritual leadership and political activities. We now appeal to the Armenian government to respect the self-governance and autonomy of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
