Elle s’implique dans des projets d’entraide à l’humanité avec la réalisation et l’installation de système solaires autonomes dans les régions du tiers monde pour permettre l’accès à l’énergie, ainsi que la formation de spécialistes dans le domaine de l’énergie solaire. De plus, la Fondation se donne pour mission de conserver et de mettre en valeur la mémoire et le patrimoine des pionniers de l’énergie solaire au travers d’expositions, de livres et de conférences.

The Foundation PlanetSolar is a Swiss public interest foundation which wishes to show that there are human-scale solutions for coping with climate change. Its purpose is to develop new concepts and technologies in the field of solar energy. Its commitment translates into three lines of action which are, 1. Exploration, 2. Humanitarian aspect and 3. Heritage. Through experimental ecology missions and research projects, the Foundation participates in the exploration of the extraordinary potential of solar energy. It is involved in projects to help humanity with the realization and installation of autonomous solar systems in south regions of the world to allow access to energy, as well as the training of specialists in the field of solar energy. In addition, the Foundation's mission is to preserve and promote the memory and heritage of solar pioneers through exhibitions, books and conferences.
