The future is in good hands. 🎓
Last Saturday, we celebrated the Class of 2026 as 130 graduates crossed the stage, surrounded by proud families, friends, teachers, and classmates. It was a day filled with excitement, gratitude, and countless memories.
Director Elsa Hernández-Donohue, Upper School Principal David Markus, Assistant Principals Alison Callaghan and Jason Musselman, together with the Grade 12 advisors, presented diplomas to the graduates, while Board Chair Markus Klose recognized this year’s award recipients for their outstanding achievements.
A special highlight was welcoming alumni Gil Glasenberg (Class of 2012), who returned to share his ZIS journey and a perspective on life beyond graduation. His message encouraged students to stay open to new possibilities, trust their instincts, and recognize that some of life’s most meaningful opportunities often appear when least expected.
Seniors Anouchka Michel and Ethan Kahn also shared heartfelt reflections on their time at ZIS, celebrating memories and friendships that will last and continue long after graduation.
The graduates also took time to acknowledge the important role their parents and families have played along the way. Their encouragement, support, and belief in their children have been invaluable throughout this journey and in reaching this significant milestone.
The celebration was accompanied by musical performances featuring members of the Senior Class and the ZIS Concert Band, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere as we honored this remarkable group of graduates and all they have accomplished.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! Wherever your next adventure takes you, you will always be part of the ZIS community.
We look forward to seeing the impact you will make on the world.
