Last clean-up of the season 🍂

Last weekend, we went to Kandersteg ⛰️

♻️ 54 participants collected 17 kg of waste and around 980 cigarette butts!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Kandersteg, and to everyone who helped throughout 2026.

This was our final clean-up of the season. Thanks to you, the mountains are in better shape, and they say thank you too! 💙

Pour célébrer notre 1/4 de siècle, nous avons imaginé quelque chose d’unique avec LGS Board Manufacture, artisans de la Vallée de Joux et l’artiste visuelle veveysanne Milena Quattrocchi.

We went to Valle Pesio & Valle Gesso 👀

♻️ 15 participants collected 17.38 kg of waste and around 250 cigarette butts in Valle Pesio
♻️ 7 participants collected 3.87 kg of waste and around 125 cigarette butts in Valle Gesso

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and helped clean these beautiful places! 🌱

The good news? Both areas were already incredibly clean, with very little waste found along the way.

What if Swiss wool could help protect our glaciers? 🐑🏔️

Swiss glaciers are melting fast. At the same time, nearly 70% of Swiss wool goes unused.

So we asked: could this local, natural and biodegradable resource offer an alternative to synthetic glacier covers?

That’s the idea behind Keep It Wool, a new experiment by Summit Foundation and the University of Lausanne, now being tested at Glacier 3000.
