PureDrops

PureDrops PureDrops aims to let everyone live in a world in which every human being has immediate access to clean drinking water.

PureDrops is a young non-for profit organisation founded in 2012 by 7 Master students of the University of St. Gallen, as part of their Masters Degree in Strategy and International Management. (www.simaginationchallenge.com/projects/puredrops)

In 2013, PureDrops' first stop was in Indonesia, where the PureDrops team donated over 100 water filters in 2013 to help the local community. From 2014 to

2018, PureDrops has been running a water purification programme in Guatemala for five consecutive years and has partnered with the local organisation Ecofiltro to donate water filters to residents of the Purulha region and children in rural Guatemala, reaching over 15,000 people. After achieving milestones in Guatemala, PureDrops has expanded its reach to Uganda, with children as the main target of assistance. PureDrops partnered with local organisation Spouts to donate nearly 400 water filters in 2019 and 2020. We will now, however, be resuming our voyage to a new country - Rwanda - to expand our impact there. Our Story

PureDrops is a young non-for profit organization founded by seven Master students of the University of St. Gallen, as part of their Masters Degree in Strategy and International Management. (www.simaginationchallenge.com/projects/puredrops) Remote regions in underdeveloped and developing countries are in desperate need for clean water, as governments are capable of just providing the necessary infrastructures and financing to communities in large cities. That is why PureDrops aims at equipping exactly these underprivileged communities with the tools and knowledge necessary to provide themselves with clean water. After a successful missions in Indonesia and Guatemala, we - eight SIM15 students - are looking to further expand on the previous efforts of this organization and we will need your support to achieve this goal. So please help us realize our project by donating on our website www.puredrops.org.
