hey impact-driven oikees 👀

last Accelerator Call, we played a simple game: Collecting Chapter initiatives and finding matching connections between them 👀

What started as a fun exercise quickly turned into a bigger reflection:

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬… 𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞?

Because sometimes we focus so much on doing, that we forget to ask:

✨ Why this project?
✨ How does a beach clean-up connect to transforming business education?
✨ How does one local action contribute to the bigger mission?

𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 the next step is not creating more initiatives. Maybe it is changing 𝒉𝒐𝒘 we create them.

The oikos Community Gathering and Conference in Lisbon is now a wrap - a perfect time to share exciting development unveiled the past week!

We are delighted to announce that we're launching oikos Accelerator - a new program designed to support the development of your oikos chapter!

The Accelerator supports strengthening leadership and fostering a culture that makes a chapter an institutionally relevant actor on local campus!

It opens up an interactive chapter-centered learning space to build capacities and incorporate intentional design for long-term impact at the core of your chapter's activities.

We'll be unveiling more details about Chapter Accelerator over the coming days and weeks, so stay tuned!

✨ We're delighted to share the story of giving and inspiring impact on the local community from our Jamshedpur chapter!

🫶 The local oikos chapter once again took part in XLRI's annual celebration of the Daan Utsav holiday through a social initiative raising funds and collecting donations for those in need. 🙏

🌱 Hundreds of locals participated in workshops that taught life-saving skills, digital literacy, and hygiene education, bringing knowledge and awareness to the most vulnerable members of society.

👏 A huge appreciation to the wonderful team at oikos Jamshedpur and the incredible work they're doing for their local community!
