When Truc and Linh were found begging on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, they still carried bright smiles and playful energy — even while quietly carrying heartbreak no child should endure.

The sisters were trying to earn money for medicine for their sick father, the only family they had left. Their dream was simple but powerful: study hard, find good jobs, and give him a safer, better life.

As slowly gained their trust through patience, games, and care, the girls finally opened up about their struggles. Despite everything, Truc still held onto hope.

That’s the power of support.

On Child Labour & Exploitation Prevention Day, we remember that behind many children forced to work, beg, or survive on the streets is one painful reality: lack of protection and opportunity.

Children like Tung, who spent his childhood collecting scrap just to eat — sometimes searching graveyards for leftover food to survive.
But when stepped in, everything changed. 💙

Tung was given safe housing, education, emotional support, and the chance to dream again. Today, he’s in university, building a future that once felt impossible. 🌱

This is the power of education and protection.
When children have a safe place to sleep, support to stay in school, and people who believe in them, the risk of trafficking and exploitation is dramatically reduced.

Because when children are protected, trafficking loses power.

Not long ago, Hung and his father were sleeping on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, begging just to survive. Today, they have a safe home, school, and hope for a brighter future.

With support from , Hung’s father found work, rebuilt his confidence, and began creating a better life for his son. Hung now wakes up excited for school, loves learning English, and brings joy everywhere he goes.

But recovery is not always a straight line. Rising living costs in Vietnam are pushing vulnerable families like Hung’s back into crisis — reminding us why long-term support matters so deeply. 💔

Help for Hope continues to walk alongside and the families they support — not just during rescue, but through every challenge that follows.

The First Help for Life School Activity of 2026

Our Help for Life 2026 Project has officially begun!

On March 27, Help for Life Program visited Alfredo Paulino State School in São Paulo, creating a beautiful moment of connection, calm, and emotional learning for 54 elementary students.

Through the story “Reiki for Children,” Reiki master and author Janaína B’rañdi transformed the classroom into a space of enchantment and affection — bringing the story to life in a way that deeply engaged the children. 📚✨

Together, the students practiced the five principles of calm, gratitude, dedication, and kindness, while the Gassho meditation helped them reconnect with the present moment. 🌱

These moments may seem small, but they plant powerful seeds of emotional awareness, empathy, and inner peace in young hearts.

In the rural mountains of Vietnam, many children never return to school after the holidays. Some stay home to care for siblings, others work to help their families survive, and many face illness without access to healthcare.

That’s why walks for hours through steep mountain paths and remote villages — visiting families, listening to their struggles, and creating long-term support plans to help children stay in school. 🌱

And it’s working.
This April alone, Blue Dragon reached 50,000 students across 97 schools, helping vulnerable children return to classrooms, reconnect with friends, and dream about a brighter future. ✨

Because education is more than learning — it protects children from poverty, exploitation, and trafficking.

On March 27, the Help for Life Program, supported by Help for Hope, visited E.E. Alfredo Paulino School for a special experience with 54 elementary students.
