🎁 Give the Gift of Education This Christmas 📚

Imagine gifting books or even an entire library to children in need this holiday season. This is an investment in their future!

We have just installed our first library at Arum Primary School, and the response has been incredible! Books are flying off the shelves as soon as they are returned, showing how eager these students are to learn. In Northern Uganda Future4Children has been operating for three years, supporting 3,800 children.

Now, we are expanding this initiative to three more schools, aiming to double the number of books available for children in need.

Currently, the only resources available to these students are outdated textbooks, leaving them without the opportunity for engaging learning experiences.

In Uganda, many children face challenges such as overcrowded classrooms, outdated materials, and a lack of opportunities for personal growth 💔

Here’s how we are working to change that in Agago District:

🏫 Classroom Renovations – CHF 40,000 to renovate schools, ensuring children have proper learning space.
📚 Library Books & Materials – CHF 20,000 to provide children with updated textbooks, reading resources, and teaching tools.
🏡 Boarding Facilities – CHF 20,000 to build safe boarding spaces for remote children.
🎶 Music & Instruments – CHF 8,000 to offer music instruction and instruments, helping children discover their talents.
⚽ Sports Equipment – CHF 4,000 to promote physical development and teamwork.

These improvements will help children in Uganda access a well-rounded education, giving them the tools they need to succeed! 🎓✨

We work tirelessly to ensure every child has the opportunity to attend school, stay enrolled, and complete their education 🎒✏️.

To date, we have successfully supported:

👩‍🏫 1,200 children educated
👧 12,500 girls empowered
🏡 170 orphans cared for
🍽️ 1,800 children nourished

By collaborating with local partners like Huellas y Futuro in Bolivia, Mariposa in the Dominican Republic, and MyWe in Uganda, we ensure our projects are community-centered and sustainable 💪🤝. These partnerships bring local knowledge to the forefront, making a lasting impact on the ground.

🚸 Why Literacy Matters:
Studies show that children who develop strong reading skills early on perform better in all subjects and have a higher chance of staying in school longer. Literacy gives children the confidence to dream big and the skills to achieve those dreams! 📖✨

During periods of conflict and crisis, children are forced out of school, increasing their suffering and trauma and sometimes even leaving entire generations without education.

🟢 About 264 million children are out of school in the world today. A disproportionate number of out-of-school children live in countries that are characterized by instability and/or extreme poverty.

🟢 The focus of Future4Children is to increase the number of children in school and to help them overcome the barriers that prevent them from attending, staying and completing basic education.
