Three days of meetings brought together the UNI Europa Youth Steering Committee and Area I representatives from Irish trade unions.
Day 1 — Area I meeting with young workers from Ireland and the UK. Challenges, observations, and priorities collected directly from affiliates to feed into the UNI Europa Youth strategic plan.
Day 2 — Workshop with Trademark Belfast on Understanding the Digital Landscape: how algorithms and AI shape what workers see, think, and find — and how digital platforms are being exploited to spread disinformation and radicalise young workers.
Day 3 — UNI Europa Youth Committee meeting. Planning advanced for the UNI Youth World Conference, Bangkok, November 2026.
Three days. Real challenges. Concrete plans.

【UNI Apro/情報労連ユースワークショップがマレーシア・クアラルンプールで開催されています！】

アジア9か国から31名が参加しています（うち情報労連より13名）。

開会式では、情報労連・春川書記長が「青年の参画こそが労働組合の未来を切り拓く力になる」と強調。
「このワークショップは貴重な経験。積極的にコミュニケーションをとり、互いの感性と価値観を尊重しながら取り組んでほしい」と呼びかけました。

また、ラジェンドラ・アチャリャUNI Apro地域書記長、モハメド・シャフィー・ママルBP UNI-MLC議長、マルタ・オチョアUNI世界青年委員会担当局長、ジョシュ・グラホUNI Apro青年委員会議長が参加者を激励しました。

三日間のワークショップで「UNI/UNI Aproの概要とユース」、「デジタル時代における若者と仕事の未来」、「組織化の取り組み」等の重要なテーマを学びます。さらに、グループワークや課外活動を通じて、労働組合の役割や直面する課題について理解を深めます。

来年開催予定のUNI世界青年大会、そしてUNI Apro青年大会に向けて、各国で青年の活動が一層活発になることが期待されています。

On ne le dira pas assez. Le programme de mentorat d'UNI Global Union forme une génération de jeunes leaders qui font véritablement entendre leurs voix et occupent valablement les postes qui leur sont confiés.
5 jeunes mentorés de l'Union Marocaine du Travail, UMT, élus dans leur syndicat de base, sont en train de montrer un autre visage du syndicat en portant haut la voix des jeunes, exprimant leur attentes et mobilisant les jeunes travailleurs.

🇪🇺 UNI Europa Youth Summer School 2025 – Building Leadership, Solidarity, and Advocacy ✊✨

From 5–10 October, over 30 young trade unionists from 11 European countries gathered in Torremolinos, Spain, for an inspiring week of training, collaboration, and collective action. 🌍

Throughout the week, participants strengthened their understanding of core trade union principles — international solidarity, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) — while developing essential skills in communication, negotiation, and collective advocacy. 💬🤝

Interactive sessions such as the DEI Courtroom, collective bargaining simulations, and team-building challenges helped transform ideas into action, preparing participants to become strong and confident advocates for young workers within their unions and across Europe. ⚖️📣

The Summer School is a cornerstone of our strategy to build a sustainable leadership pipeline and reinforce youth advocacy within the European trade union movement — ensuring that young voices not only participate but help shape the future of work, while upholding the European social model and its values of solidarity and justice. 🇪🇺❤️
