💚Meet Amber, a true food hero!

Amber has been involved with The Lost Food Project for more than three years, and coordinates all of our operations in the Aubonne area.
Amber not only manages food donors and liaises with our partner food banks in Aubonne, Lavigny and St.Prex, she also coordinates all Aubonne area volunteers and even helps organise our end-of-year volunteer get-together.

As an entirely volunteer-led organisation, we’re always looking for new volunteers in Nyon, Gland and Aubonne and surrounding areas. Would you like to help in our fight against food waste? Sign up on the website (www.thelostfoodproject.ch) under “Inscription Bénévole” and we’ll contact you with pleasure!

VAR review confirms it: throwing away perfectly good food is a clear violation of fair play. Red Card! 🟥⚽

We are officially blowing the whistle on the most common kitchen fouls of our time. From binning “wonky” veg to treating a “Best Before” date like radioactive toxic waste, the standard of play in Swiss kitchens is getting a straight RED. 🚫⚠️

Swipe through to see if you’re facing an immediate match ban this week ➡️

What’s the ultimate offense committed in your household? Drop it in the comments below so we can launch an official VAR review 👀

🍊 Fresh juice. Zero waste. Big impact.

At the Gland Spring Run this month, The Lost Food Project turned rescued surplus oranges into delicious fresh juice, thanks to a generous partner who made it all possible ♻️

But it wasn’t just about the juice. Our stand raised funds and sparked conversations on the global food waste crisis, powered by an amazing crew of TLFP volunteers, and corporate partners 💥

Huge thanks to the GSR organizers for the opportunity, and shoutout to every walker and runner who showed up and gave it their all 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Let’s keep fighting food waste together!

🌸🐣 Happy Easter from The Lost Food Project 🐣🌸

Spring is finally here, flowers are blooming, the sun is back, and yes… chocolate eggs are mysteriously appearing 👀🍫

While you’re hunting for eggs this weekend, don’t forget about the real hidden treasure: all the delicious food already in your fridge! 🥕🥖✨
Before you buy more, take a little “fridge safari”, you might just rediscover ingredients ready for a second life.

Because let’s be honest… the only thing that should go to waste this Easter is your ability to resist one more piece of chocolate 😄

🌱 Celebrate the season
🥗 Get creative with leftovers
💛 Share food, not waste

Wishing you a warm, joyful, and (deliciously sustainable) Easter!

🌍💚 It’s International Zero Waste Day!

Every apple saved, every meal shared, every small action adds up to big change. At The Lost Food Project Switzerland, we’re proud to stand with our community in the fight against food waste

💪 rescuing good food and redistributing it to people who need it most.

Together, we’re proving that zero waste isn’t just a goal, it’s a way of caring for each other and for our planet. 🌱

Thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, or spreads the word. You’re the heart of this movement! 💪💚
