As such, it is an open text, a sight on the outside world which wishes for multiple opinions. OSA is a tool through which the students open a debate on architecture in its widest form.

Vuoto Futuro

Vuoto Futuro is a collective of architects and designers founded in 2023 by Samuel Cima, Simone Contini, Raffaele Geronazzo and Elisabetta Maifredi. The collective explores the reuse of Italy’s industrial heritage through research, education and design projects.

Working across different contexts and disciplines, Vuoto Futuro investigates abandoned and disused industrial sites as resources for new forms of reuse and collective thinking. Its work combines the study and mapping of industrial heritage with workshops, exhibitions, publications and design projects, bringing together young professionals, institutions and students.

Through a collective and research-driven approach, Vuoto Futuro questions how existing structures can be reactivated and how industrial heritage can contribute to imagining new forms of inhabitation and new relationships between architecture, territory and society.
