Over the last three days, in an intensive course hosted at the Humanitas University in Milan, ESASO Surgical Retinal course participants explored some of the most challenging topics in vitreoretinal surgery and have been mentored during extensive wet lab practice sessions.

At the ESASO Foundation, we put all our efforts to provide high-quality education with direct interaction with internationally renowned faculty, international networking opportunities and practical experience, as we believe all this is essential to prepare the next generation of retinal surgeons.

A big thank you to Humanitas University for hosting this outstanding educational experience, to our Scientific Director Mario Romano, to the course Scientific Coordinator Prof. Andrea Govetto, to our Faculty Sibel Demirel, Jelena Potic, Mariantonia Ferrara , Jose Garcia Agrumi, Denise Vogt, Joao Figueira, Patricia Udaondo, José Vallejo, Francesco Faraldi, to our participants for their commitment, and to BVI - The future in focus Bausch + Lomb Surgical DORC AbbVie Italia ZEISS Vision Care Italia for their collaboration in organising this great educational activity.
