Thank you to everyone who participated in the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Swiss MMA Federation. 🇨🇭

A total of 47 members, attendees and represented proxies took part in this important moment for our federation.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants for their presence, commitment and constructive contributions. The Assembly highlighted the strength, unity and dedication of the Swiss MMA community. 🤝

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to IMMAF for its continued support of our work and for helping ensure transparency, democratic governance and integrity within the Swiss MMA community. 🙏

Now the real work begins. Our goal is clear: to unite the entire Swiss MMA community, build bridges, work together and continue moving our sport forward for the benefit of athletes, clubs, coaches and officials across Switzerland.

Thank you for your trust and support. We look forward to the future and to the work ahead.

Following the conclusion of the Extraordinary General Assembly, we will reopen dialogue and constructive discussions with all gyms that did not attend, but exclusively with those who are ready to operate in full compliance with the rules and standards established by IMMAF. 🤝

The growth of our sport necessarily depends on respect for the regulations that protect athlete safety, the credibility of competitions, and the very future of MMA.

We continue to closely monitor events organized across the territory and, even today, we observe with concern situations that should no longer occur: the use of prohibited techniques, failure to use mandatory protective equipment, and other violations of international regulations. All of this is unacceptable.

Athlete safety is non-negotiable and cannot be subordinated to personal, economic, or political interests. The Swiss MMA Federation will continue to work with determination to ensure that IMMAF standards are implemented and respected by all those who wish to contribute to the serious, professional, and sustainable development of MMA in Switzerland.🇨🇭

On June 13, at in Lugano, we gathered for the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Swiss Mixed Martial Arts Federation (SMMAF). It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss important topics, make key decisions, and continue shaping the future of Swiss MMA together. 🤝

Our athletes once again showed great heart, skill, and determination on the international stage 👏🏻

🏆 Amir Nefzi became champion and took home the gold medal in the Senior Featherweight division!

🥈 Representing the IMMAF Refugee Team, Ruslan Stalchenko finished the tournament as a Junior Super Welterweight silver medalist.

We would also like to highlight the great work of coach 👊🏻
