Let Us Not Forget Our Sick Elderlies
As we continue our mission of serving communities, let us also remember the sick and elderly who often long not only for assistance but also for love, compassion, and companionship.
On August 6, 2026, the Ladies of Rizal Switzerland and the Knights of Rizal Lucerne Chapter, spearheaded by the Salangsang Family, visited and extended their love and support to the sick elderlies under the care of the Camillian Sisters. Through our humble donations and time spent with them, we hoped to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those who have given so much throughout their lives.
This act of service reflects the very spirit of Dr. José Rizal, who became a physician not only to heal the sick but also because of his deep desire to restore the eyesight of his beloved mother, Doña Teodora. His compassion continues to inspire us to care for those who are most vulnerable.
The Camillian Sisters in Antipolo City will celebrate their 28th Founding Anniversary on September 12. While they care for paying private residents, they are also lovingly providing for 10 indigent elderly individuals who have no means to support themselves.
They gratefully welcome donations of any kind—whether financial assistance, food, medicines, adult diapers, toiletries, clothing, or other essential items—to help sustain their mission.
Let us continue to support these dedicated sisters and this noble institution. Together, through kindness and generosity, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our beloved elderlies.
