✨ Moritz Achermann (*1991) is a Swiss composer, vocalist, choir conductor, and theatre musician. Trained in musicology, vocal performance, and composition in Bern, he works across contemporary music and interdisciplinary theatre projects. He is a founding member of the interdisciplinary Compagnie Merce & John, a member of die Freitagsakademie, and co-director of the vocal ensemble tempo d’affetto. 🎶

meet our SME composer Urs Peter Schneider

✨ Born in Bern, Urs Peter Schneider is a composer, improviser, performer, and educator. He studied piano and composition with Walter Lang, Bruno Seidlhofer, Sandor Veress, and Karlheinz Stockhausen. Founder of Ensemble Neue Horizonte Bern, he has released over 50 recordings and composed 250+ works performed worldwide. Awarded multiple Swiss music prizes, he taught at the Bern University of the Arts until 2002 and now focuses on performance, text-based compositions, and conceptual music. In 2022 the project STUPS (Stiftung Urs Peter Schneider) was created. 🎶
