Junes MUN is an annual event to which all members greatly look forward as an occasion to meet fellow students from Switzerland who share the same passion for international politics and diplomacy, as well as to build new friendships. Most importantly, it is a platform where we can create and develop new ideas and philosophies, which we can implement in the world of our future. Sport for Development
and Peace is an important theme for today and for the future and which we believe will spark the enthusiasm of the participants. With its solid reputation of being the Olympic Capital, Lausanne offers an ideal environment to explore the aspect of sport in diplomacy and create interest in its role as an effective tool for development and peace. We are proud to welcome students from different parts of the country to this beautiful and cosmopolitan city. As active Model UN members for the past few years, we consider it a great privilege to take on the organization and the secretariat of our national conference, which gives us this amazing opportunity to further develop not only our experiences but also those of our participants. For the first time, our collaborating associations come from three different schools, each bringing their own expertise in their respective areas of interest. We have set up an effective organizing committee consisting of motivated and dedicated students, which we believe will make this edition successful and memorable.
