05/10/2026
It may still be 2026, but preparations for Pint of Science 2027 have already begun!
We are excited to announce that the next edition of Pint of Science will take place from 10–12 May 2027!
Once again, we look forward to bringing scientists and researchers from institutions across Switzerland closer to the public, creating informal spaces where they can share their research, spark conversations, and make science accessible to everyone.
And now, we are looking for the people who will help make it happen!
📣 Call for City Coordinators & Organising Committees
Until the end of October, we are actively recruiting volunteers to form the local teams that will organise Pint of Science in cities across Switzerland.
Over the past years, Pint of Science has taken place in several major Swiss cities, bringing researchers and the public together over three evenings of science, discussion and, of course, a pint or two. 🍻
In 2027, we would like to go even further, strengthening our existing local teams while also bringing Pint of Science to new cities and regions across Switzerland.
Each city is supported by a local organising team of approximately 5–6 volunteers, who work together to bring the festival to life: connecting with researchers, coordinating venues and events, communicating with local communities, and creating three memorable evenings of science.
💡 Would you like to bring Pint of Science to your city?
Whether you are a researcher, student, science communicator, or simply someone enthusiastic about bringing science closer to society, we would love to hear from you.
👉 Join a local team and help us build the bridge between science and the public.
