Volley4Change: Learning, connection and opportunity through volleyball. 🏐💙

The project supported the Bay Barrier Community on Pentecost Island, Vanuatu, through five sessions focused on communication, inclusion, leadership and volleyball development.

The week concluded with a special closing ceremony and the donation of volleyball equipment to the community.

Over the past two years, the FIVB Volleyball Foundation has supported communities around the world, creating opportunities for people to come together, belong and grow through volleyball.

Every court, every project, every player and every smile is a reminder of what this sport can do - connecting, serving and inspiring communities through volleyball to help improve societies.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far - the players, partners, clubs, coaches and communities.

From Shallala to Dawro Konta, Beyond the Net brings communities together through volleyball. 🏐

With volleyball nets set up in open fields and school meadows, children come together to play, share joy, build teamwork and create unforgettable memories alongside coaches who join them along the way.

BVL has opened doors for thousands of young players with BVL Plus.

Created for players aged 16+, BVL Plus brings a structured competitive pathway for athletes who want to play at a higher level.

Season 1 of the BVL Plus Challenger Series took place in Guwahati, with 34 matches in 7 days and the best 144 players in the state. With multi camera live broadcasting and a professional event setup, it was a huge success.

Supported by Dani Sports Foundation, BVL Plus is shaping a clear route from grassroots to high performance volleyball in Assam.

Volleyball is changing lives, both on and off the court. 🏐📚

Githurai Kimbo Volleyball Academy in Kenya have previously launched a school programme with their local school, Lily Academy, enrolling 32 children across primary and junior high - giving young players not just coaching, but education and a safe space to grow.

Today, a group of girls from that first cohort have made the transition to Ng’araria Girls Senior School - and have already earned places in the school’s first team volleyball squad.🙌✨

Generations For Peace sessions in Zarqa, Jordan supporting boys from refugee communities through volleyball. 🏐

The wider programme supports both boys and girls, with sessions combining play and psychosocial support for 100 displaced youth, helping strengthen mental health, resilience and social cohesion.

Every session is a reminder that sport can create hope, belonging and a stronger future.✨

There are exciting ambitions at Githurai Kimbo Volleyball Academy this season, with a push for the national volleyball title included. 🏆

During the April school break, GKA hosted training sessions for U12, U15 and U19 boys’ and girls’ teams ahead of the upcoming school ball games, where athletes will represent their schools. 🏐

Lily Academy will enter four teams this season, while the U15 boys are looking to build on last year’s impressive 5th-place national finish.
