Born in July 2013, the International Trail-Running Association is aimed to promote trail running and its strong values, to promote security and health prevention on trail races, to give a voice to all the actors of trail running at the international level and to have constructive relations with national trail associations, national and international federations.

Have you ever heard of a mountain post office?

Belo created a small stop where hikers and trail runners can send postcards from the mountains to friends and family around the world.

If you visit the Cesta Hrdinov SNP in Slovakia, be sure to stop by the Horská Pošta mailbox and send your loved ones a postcard from the mountains. Because even when you're far away, some trails are worth sharing.

The 2026 Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships will be held in Wuyishan, Fujian Province, China, one of the most remarkable natural and cultural landscapes in the world.

This second edition will unite the top trail runners from across the Asia Pacific region, competing for individual and team titles and a coveted overall cup.

Championship race formats:
Long Trail (80 km)
Short Trail (40 km)
U23 Trail (15 km)

Participation is reserved for each country or territory’s highest-ranked athletes, selected based on their ITRA Performance Index. Federations play a central role in team selection.
