GFRAS has three functions:

1) Providing voice for advisory services within global policy dialogues and promoting improved investment in RAS;3
2) Supporting the development and synthesis of evidence-based approaches and policies for improving the effectiveness of RAS; and

How can we prepare the next generation of extension professionals?

Join us for the next webinar in the GFRAS 2026 Knowledge Sharing Webinar Series, where we will explore how India is strengthening the capacities of young extensionists through innovative approaches to professional development, experiential learning, and knowledge management.

Drawing on experiences from the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Centre for Research on Innovation and Science Policy (CRISP), and Agricultural Extension in South Asia (AESA), participants will discover how capacity development programmes, internships, and knowledge-sharing initiatives are helping build stronger advisory systems, and discuss how these lessons can inspire similar efforts in other countries and regions.
