Hoynnaa was genuinely impressed by the level of the dancers, and it was such a pleasure for her to teach here in Geneva!

Alongside the “Sunkiss” by TUIDE cover class, Geneva also got something extra special: the very first class of her brand-new choreography to “Never Let Go” by LNGSHOT 🔥 R U curious to watch it? 😉

We were also so happy to welcome a member of PЯISM from Strasbourg 🇫🇷 — a lovely reunion after collaborating with them earlier this year for Jay Kim ’s workshops.

🇰🇷 National Day of the Republic of Korea 🇨🇭

Who knew that Korea and Bern had a bear connection? 🐻

H.E. Mr. Kim Taekyoon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Swiss Confederation, drew a playful parallel between Bern’s iconic bear and Korea’s legendary she-bear Ungnyeo (웅녀) — the perfect opportunity to take us all the way back to the fascinating founding myth of Dangun.

H.E. Ambassador Markus Leitner, Head of the Asia and Pacific Division at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, then reminded us that the love story goes both ways. Korea certainly made waves in Switzerland with K-dramas and K-culture, but Switzerland got its own K-drama moment too! 🇨🇭🇰🇷

Thanks in no small part to Crash Landing on You, Brienz and the Bernese Oberland have become dream destinations for many Korean visitors. Apparently, sometimes all it takes is a hit K-drama to put a Swiss lake on the other side of the world’s bucket list. 😄

From legendary bears to K-drama landscapes, a lovely reminder of the unexpected connections between Korea and Switzerland. 🐻❤️🇰🇷🇨🇭

And just in case you were wondering: yes, the rest of the speeches were considerably more serious. Bears and K-dramas only took over diplomacy for a brief moment. 😄🐻🇰🇷🇨🇭
