Earlier this year, the World Bridge Federation announced a new project featuring online events reserved for Under 14 players in Minibridge format.

The second event will take place on
🗓️ Sunday, 7 June 2026 at 9:00 AM Beijing Time
on RealBridge

Players will play 10 boards in Minibridge format, followed by a short Zoom lesson covering the key aspects of some of the boards in an engaging way.

The 2nd eBridge Cup begins today, May 1st. Jointly hosted by BBO (Bridge Base Online) and Funbridge, the tournament will unfold across three stages and culminate in a live final in Katowice, Poland, this August.

A particularly meaningful aspect of the initiative, supported by the World Bridge Federation (WBF), is that it represents an opportunity for National Bridge Organizations: a share of the revenue will be allocated to them, with contributions distributed in proportion to the number of players from each country who took part in the event. In this way, individual participation translates into tangible support for national bridge movements around the world.
