- Responsibility
“The aim of the wise is not to secure pleasure, but to avoid pain.”
— Aristotle

Leadership requires difficult choices.
Not simply pursuing what is easy or popular, but considering long-term consequences for society and future generations.

A central theme of the Zermatt Summit.
🗓 17–19 September 2026

- [x] A call to think differently

What if the real challenge isn’t choosing sides…

…but choosing the common good?

This September, in the heart of the Alps,
a select group of thinkers and leaders will take a step back —
to rethink what truly matters.

The Zermatt Summit 2026
is not about easy answers.
It’s about asking better questions.

- [x] Beyond ideologies

Ideologies simplify.
Reality is more complex.

In a world of quick answers,
how do we stay committed to nuance, truth, and responsibility?

At the Zermatt Summit 2026,
we choose to confront complexity — not avoid it.

- [x] The question of responsibility

Who is responsible for the common good?

Governments?
Leaders?
Each of us?

What if the answer is: all of the above?

The Zermatt Summit 2026 brings together voices ready to move beyond theory — and into action.

The tension

We live in a time of strong opinions.
But are we still able to listen?

Between conviction and dialogue,
where do we draw the line?

At the Zermatt Summit 2026,
we explore how disagreement can become a force for progress — not division.

Responsibility

Theme: Impact

Leadership carries responsibility —
not only for results, but for consequences.

Economic choices shape societies, ecosystems and future generations.

At the Zermatt Summit, participants explore how leadership can align performance with responsibility.

Because the true measure of success is the impact we leave behind.

Dialogue.

Theme: Listening

Some of the most important conversations are not the loudest ones.

They happen when leaders take the time to listen —
across sectors, cultures and perspectives.

The Zermatt Summit creates a space where meaningful dialogue can happen:
thoughtful, respectful, and focused on the common good.

Because progress rarely comes from monologues.
