The SCI Helvetia Chapter weekend in Gstaad, held on August 22–23, was a great success. Members gathered for a spirited shooting competition, followed by a memorable gala dinner in the heart of Gstaad. The evening was highlighted by a lively auction, which raised significant support for our conservation and chapter initiatives. A warm thank you to all participants for their enthusiasm and generosity, which made this event truly exceptional.

Helvetia Chapter Leads Black Grouse Conservation in Switzerland!

The SCI Helvetia Chapter in Switzerland proudly showcased its renowned black grouse conservation project during its annual event in Gstaad this past August. The weekend was filled with exciting activities in the Alps, including a clay and rifle competition, followed by a gala dinner. The event highlighted the success of our Black Grouse Conservation Project. Since 2021, we’ve been repurposing goats to help restore black grouse habitats by removing invasive plants, a unique initiative that is making a significant impact across Switzerland.
