Meet Mary Linda, our dedicated Human Resource assistant at Rafiki wa Maendeleo Trust.
For Mary, HR is all about people. She’s passionate about creating a workplace where every team member feels valued, supported, and connected to Rafiki’s mission of empowering youth and communities in Rarieda.
“What I enjoy most about my role is being part of a team that empowers both our staff and the communities we serve. Every day brings a new opportunity to support others and make a meaningful impact through people.”
Mary is driven by the ripple effect. When staff feel motivated and seen, their impact in the community grows. Her commitment to growth, inclusivity, and genuine connection shines in everything she does.
As we mark Jamhuri Day, we celebrate team members like Mary who embody service, unity, and empowerment. They help build a better Kenya one person at a time.
Fun fact: Mary is an explorer at heart. She loves discovering new places, trying new cuisines, and learning about different cultures. This curiosity helps her connect with people from all walks of life.
We’re proud to have Mary on the Rafiki team, bringing heart, curiosity, and purpose to Human Resource every day.
"What I love most about HR is creating a workplace where people grow, feel valued, and align their goals with our mission of empowering others."- Mary
