The Committee for Justice (CFJ) is an independent human rights organization based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Founded in 2015, CFJ works to document violations, support victims, and promote accountability, with a focus on North Africa and the Sahel region. The Committee for Justice (CFJ) is an independent association for the defense of human rights based in Geneva, Switzerland and established in 2015 by a diverse group of human rights advocates. CFJ aims at enabling the international community, CSOs and knowledge hubs to provide alternative solutions concerning the human rights situation in the region, to conduct justice for victims, obtain reparation and counter impunity for perpetrators of human rights violations. We are currently working on 3 projects:HRCMonitoring,Yemen & Gulf,Egypt We aim to convey Geneva's HRC to all HRDs in the MENA

لجنة العدالة هي جمعية مستقلة للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان ومقرها في جنيف بسويسرا.وقام بتأسيس اللجنة مجموعة متنوعة من المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان في 2015 . وتهدف لجنة العدالة إلى تمكين المجتمع الدولي ومنظمات المجتمع المدني ومراكز المعرفة من تقديم حلول للقضايا المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا لتحقيق العدالة للضحايا والحصول على التعويضات لهم والوقوف ضد الإفلات من العقاب لمرتكبي انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان.

The United Nations Human Rights Council has published a written statement submitted by the Committee for Justice (CFJ) during its 63rd session, held from 7 September to 9 October 2026. The statement, issued as UN document No. A/HRC/63/NGO/388, was submitted under agenda item 3 to contribute to the interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation, following his country visit to Egypt from 7 to 18 February 2026.

نشر مجلس حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة بياناً مكتوباً قدمته لجنة العدالة خلال دورته الثالثة والستين، المنعقدة في الفترة من 7 سبتمبر إلى 9 أكتوبر 2026. وقد قُدم في إطار البند الثالث من جدول الأعمال للمساهمة في الحوار التفاعلي مع المقرر الخاص المعني بحقوق الإنسان في الحصول على مياه الشرب المأمونة وخدمات الصرف الصحي، عقب زيارته القطرية إلى مصر في الفترة من 7 إلى 18 فبراير 2026.

The Committee for Justice submits this written statement under agenda item 2 of the sixty-third session of the Human Rights Council, in connection with the interactive dialogue on the comprehensive report of the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission for the Sudan.

Since the Council’s previous dialogue, grave violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law have continued across Sudan. The Mission’s July 2026 supplementary findings on El Fasher provide further evidence of mass killings, abductions, sexual violence and conduct bearing hallmarks of genocide. El Obeid has meanwhile emerged as an acute protection concern. The Council’s July resolution requesting an urgent inquiry into violations in and around the city was an important preventive step; effective implementation now requires access, resources and continuation of the Mission’s mandate.

Nouakchott – Genève (13 août 2026) : Le Committee for Justice (CFJ) exprime sa vive indignation face aux condamnations rendues par le tribunal criminel de la wilaya de Nouakchott-Nord, infligeant quatre ans de prison ferme à trois dirigeants de l’Initiative pour la Résurgence du Mouvement Abolitionniste (IRA Mauritanie) : le coordonnateur général El-Jah Ould El-Eid, le responsable des droits de l’homme Abdallahi Abou Diop, et le membre de la commission d’information Bou El-Nass Ahmeyda.

نواكشوط – جنيف : تُعرب لجنة العدالة (Committee for Justice – CFJ) عن استنكارها الشديد للأحكام الصادرة عن المحكمة الجنائية بولاية نواكشوط الشمالية، والقاضية بسجن ثلاثة من قيادات مبادرة انبعاث الحركة الانعتاقية (IRA Mauritanie) لمدة أربع سنوات نافذة، وهم: المنسق العام الحاج ولد العيد، ومسؤول حقوق الإنسان عبد الله آبو جوب، ومسؤول الإعلام بالولاية الجنوبية بو الناس احميده.

En coopération avec le Service international pour les droits de l’homme (ISHR), Committee for Justice (CFJ) a présenté un projet de résolution thématique au Forum des ONG à Dakar. Déjà soutenue et signée par 40 organisations africaines de défense des droits humains, cette initiative appelle la Commission africaine des droits de l’homme et des peuples à mettre en place un groupe de travail conjoint et à réaliser une étude continentale approfondie sur la répression transnationale en Afrique, afin de développer des mécanismes efficaces de prévention, de protection, de responsabilisation et d’accès à des recours effectifs.

In cooperation with the International Service for Human Rights (ISHR), Committee for Justice (CFJ) has submitted a draft thematic resolution to the NGO Forum in Dakar. Already endorsed and signed by 40 African human rights organisations, the initiative calls on the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights to establish a Joint Task Force and undertake a comprehensive continental study on transnational repression in Africa, with a view to developing effective mechanisms for prevention, protection, accountability and access to remedies.

بالتعاون مع الخدمة الدولية لحقوق الإنسان (ISHR)، تقدّم لجنة العدالة مشروع قرار إلى منتدى المنظمات غير الحكومية المنعقد في داكار، يحظى حتى الآن بتأييد 40 منظمة حقوقية أفريقية وقّعت عليه، ويدعو اللجنة الأفريقية لحقوق الإنسان والشعوب إلى إنشاء فريق عمل مشترك وإجراء دراسة قارية شاملة لرصد أنماط القمع العابر للحدود في أفريقيا، وتطوير آليات فعالة للوقاية منه وحماية ضحاياه وضمان المساءلة عن الانتهاكات المرتبطة به.
