A meaningful milestone for SANCHILD International 🕊️
We had the honour of being selected as a partner organization for an Applied Research Project by four students from the Geneva Graduate Institute.
Their research, Mapping Pathways to Peace in the Balkans and Beyond, explored how the Harmony Project’s community-led approach contributes to positive peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and how its model could be adapted to other contexts.
Through their work, they examined key dimensions of Harmony, including trust-building, dialogue, local ownership, emotional transformation, and the conditions needed for future scalability.
For SANCHILD, this research represents more than an academic collaboration. It is an important step in learning from what has already been created, strengthening the foundations of the Harmony Project, and preparing its next phase with greater clarity and intention.
We sincerely thank Aabha Shouche, Charlotte Vincent, Emily Copple and Nike Helmerich for their thoughtful work, commitment and presentation.
We are also grateful to the Geneva Graduate Institute (), Prof. Eric Degila and Claudia Seymour (Head of ARP) for supporting this meaningful collaboration.
And our Harmony alumni for providing meaningful feedback loops of their experience and work through the Harmony project as well our founder Sanela () and advisor Walter Gyger () for their commitment in supporting the research team.
As Harmony continues to grow, research and reflection help us move forward with humility, depth and purpose.
From inner peace to collective healing.
