What happens when crisis moves closer to home and safety becomes dependent on language support?
Join us for this important panel discussion exploring the role of translation, interpreting, advocacy, and technology in responding to domestic violence and supporting survivors in crisis settings.
Bringing together experts from Canada and the United States, the panel will examine language access, ethics, trauma, cultural understanding, and the often invisible role language professionals play in high-stakes environments.
This is a timely conversation for translators, interpreters, legal professionals, advocates, researchers, students, and community members across the globe.

A new micro-conference for translators and interpreters focused on a key question for our profession today: what skills do language professionals need to stay competitive in the age of AI?
