How’s this for community!? The Union Maraîchère de Genève, an organization which sells only local produce, gave out cherries to drivers stuck in the traffic jams caused by the G7 border closures.

The Tribune de Genève has communicated the final route of the NOG7 march on Sunday.

Because of the march:
- from 8 a.m., the Léman Express will run only between Chêne-Bourg and Coppet.
- Tram 17 will be suspended from 5 a.m.
- Tram 12 will be limited to the Bachet–Plainpalais section.
- And, the Mont Blanc Bridge will be closed.

There is a lot of talk about the increased police presence on both sides of the border. This is the official schedule of the various closures. At our Club we figure there are three main points: best not cross the border, be ready for possible disruptions on public transport from Sunday and remember to carry your ID with you.

We had a big turnout at the Gourmet International Group’s lunch. One of our members led an Indian cuisine demo. She always teaches us something new and it’s wonderfully delicious.

Sometimes we have big groups and other times we have a small group. This time our we had a small Champel Neighborhood group meet up for a delicious Lebanese lunch at Les Trois Phéniciens. Three different meals for three fantastic women.
