Reducing the health impacts of Leptospirosis Leptospirosis has emerged as a major public health problem much of the tropical developing world.

It is a complex and dynamic disease. The sevreity of the illness ranges from subclinical infection to a fulminating fatal disease. Leptospirosis incidence is highest among low-lying countries with frequent flooding.

Magpakonsulta kaagad para iwas Leptospirosis!

Nakapagtala ng 115 na leptospirosis cases ang Quezon City sa buong buwan ng Hulyo ngayong taon. Ang 85% o 95 cases ay nagpakonsulta sa doktor tatlong araw matapos makaranas ng sintomas. Ang bilang na ito ay nagpapaalala na kailangang mag-ingat sa panganib na dulot ng paglusong sa baha at maruruming tubig upang maiwasan ang leptospirosis.

Kung ikaw ay lumusong o na-expose sa maruming tubig nitong mga nagdaang araw o linggo, 'wag nang hintayin ang mga sintomas ng leptospirosis - magpakonsulta kaagad sa doktor o pinakamalapit na health center sa inyong lugar.

Libre ang check-up at Post Exposure Prophylaxis sa ating mga health center, na bukas mula Lunes hanggang Biyernes, 7:00 AM hanggang 5:00 PM.
