What if you woke up tomorrow unable to read what is around you?
--
Imagine spending your day in complete silence from the written world.
On International Literacy Day (September 8, 2026), we remember that reading and writing are not merely academic skills; literacy is dignity, safety, and independence.
--
When you teach someone to read, you give them:
• Independence: The ability to make informed decisions for their health, family, and future.
• Opportunity: A bridge out of poverty toward meaningful work and lifelong growth.
• A Voice: The confidence to participate, speak up, and be heard.
--
Every letter taught is a barrier broken down, and every word built is a door opened to a brighter future.
