Giving Women is a network of women involved in philanthropy who together pool their time, knowledge, professional experience and financial assistance to support projects dedicated to women or founded by women. Our aim is to build a community of informed women philanthropists and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of girls and women in need.

🎬 Join us for a special screening of the award-winning film NAWI

Giving Women is delighted to collaborate with FOTIS to host a powerful film screening and discussion with the screenwriter, Milcah Cherotich.

NAWI tells the true and deeply moving story of a young girl determined to pursue education despite the pressures of early marriage. Through her journey, the film highlights the resilience of girls and the transformative power of education.

This event supports students in nine countries to access secondary education, as well as Loropio Girls High School in Turkana, Kenya, a current Giving Women Project Circle.

We are delighted to be partnering with Khani Bonnet of Bitesize Capital on “Women as Agents for Catalytic Capital & Investment”, an exclusive learning forum on 5 March, exploring how capital can be mobilised more intentionally and effectively for impact in Africa.

At a moment when traditional funding models are being reimagined, this event brings together women philanthropists, investors and ecosystem builders to explore how catalytic capital, blended capital and catalytic giving can unlock new pathways for social change. It offers practical insight, vibrant discussion and real-world examples of how women are stewarding and deploying capital with clarity and purpose.
