For the last 35 to 39 years, Sinari Bolade Daranijo has been in business. Widely known as SBD or The Enterprise Sage, he is a multipreneur, board-level strategist, and architect of enduring enterprise systems.

As Chief Executive Officer of Sinbol Group, he oversees a diversified portfolio of companies spanning security technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, facility management, emergency response infrastructure, cosmetics production, food processing, property development, export consultancy and entrepreneurship development training.

During our visit to Lagos Nigeria, we sat down with Mr Sinari to talk about business and entrepreneurship. From how he began his journey as a young man to becoming a multipreneur and sitting as a member on the board of trustees of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund.

Today, 17th September 2026, marks the official launch of the partnership between Greycells and Hesed World.

At the Greycells Cafe in Geneva, both organizations met to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to mark the partnership.

Greycells and Hesed World are joining forces to create an intergenerational mentoring partnership that connects experience, knowledge and networks with the energy, ideas and aspirations of a new generation.

Greycells brings the wealth of experience of professionals who have worked across international institutions, countries and cultures.

Hesed World contributes its youth networks and experience in supporting young people whose considerable potential is often constrained by limited access to mentorship, skills development, professional networks, decent work and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Together, we are building a bridge between generations, experience, and aspiration. Transforming knowledge into opportunity and opportunity into impact.

Through mentoring, the partnership will support young people in developing their leadership and professional skills, broadening their perspectives, navigating complex environments, and building meaningful networks.

This MOU is the beginning. There is more ahead. Watch this space to stay tuned.

What role do young Africans have in the global conversations shaping our world?

What if taking the leap is the only way to discover what's on the other side?

Stepping outside your comfort zone can be uncomfortable, uncertain, and sometimes even scary. But as Paul Vallet shares, taking that leap of faith is necessary, whether you’re young or much older.

There may not be a perfect formula for learning how to embrace the unknown. Sometimes, you simply have to take the step, adjust along the way, and allow the experience to teach you.

This is just a snippet of a very interesting conversation we had with Dr. Paul Vallet about courage, uncertainty, growth, and what it really means to take a chance on the opportunities life presents.
