Le Comité suisse œuvre pour la réunification des Marbres du Parthénon en cherchant
des soutiens et en sensibilisant l’opinion publique en Suisse. Il dispose d’une structure légère reposant sur un noyau de personnalités et de collaborateurs. Peuvent devenir membres du Comité suisse toutes personnes ph
ysiques ou morales qui souscrivent aux valeurs et aux buts du Comité. Le Comité suisse pour le Retour des Marbres du Parthénon développe ses activités tant au niveau national qu’au niveau européen et international. En Suisse, le Comité représente la source principale d’informations sur les Marbres du Parthénon et sur la néces- sité de soutenir leur réunification. A cette fin, nous organisons des conférences, publions de la documentation et établis- sons des relations avec des dirigeants suisses. Au niveau international, le Comité Suisse s’engage activement au sein de l’Association internationale pour la réunification des Marbres du Parthénon qui réunit 18 associations en Europe et partout dans le monde. Le Président du Comité suisse, le Professeur Dusan Sidjanski, a été élu Vice-président de l’Association internationale en juin 2009. De plus, nous entretenons des contacts étroits avec des organisations européennes et internationales suscep- tibles d’aider au retour des Marbres du Parthénon, telles que l’Union européenne, le Conseil de l’Europe et l’UNESCO.

Das Schweizer Komitee fördert die Vereinigung des Parthenon Marmors, indem es die öffentliche Meinung in der Schweiz für diese Frage zu sensibilisieren sucht. Unsere Organisation besteht aus einer Gruppe kompetenter und sehr engagierter Menschen. Die Mitgliedschaft steht jeder natürlichen und juristischen Person offen, die sich zu unseren Werten und Zielen bekennt. Das Schweizer Komitee für die Rückführung des Parthenon Marmors ist sowohl auf nationaler, als auch auf internationaler Ebene aktiv. In der Schweiz ist das Komitee eine der führenden Informationsquellen über den Parthenon Marmor und die Notwendigkeit der Unterstützung seiner Vereinigung. Zu diesem Zweck werden Konferenzen und Veranstaltungen organisiert, Schriften veröffentlicht und direkte Kontakte mit Schweizer Entscheidungsträgern hergestellt. Auf internationaler Ebene ist das Schweizer Komitee aktives Mitglied der International Association for the Reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures, die Komitees aus 17 Ländern der gesamten Welt umfasst. Dusan Sidjanski, ist im Juni 2009 zum Vize-Präsidenten der International Association gewählt worden. Außerdem hat das Komitee enge Beziehungen mit der griechischen Regierung und dem neuen Akropolis Museum aufgebaut. Darüber hinaus unterhält es Beziehungen zu mit dem Thema befassten internationalen Organisationen wie der Unesco, der Europäischen Union und dem Europarat.

The Swiss Committee campaigns to promote the reunion of the Parthenon Marbles by increasing public awareness in Switzerland of our cause. Our organization is composed of a group of highly competent and committed individuals. Membership is open to any person or entity who subscribes to our values and aims. The Swiss Committee for the Return of the Parthenon Marbles is active both on a national and international level. In Switzerland, the Committee is the leading source of information about the Parthenon Marbles and the need to support their reunification.To this end, conferences are organized, documents published and direct contacts estab- lished with Swiss leaders. On an international level, the Swiss Committee is an active member of the International Association for the Reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures composed of 17 committees from all over the world. The Swiss Committee’s President, Prof. Dusan Sidjanski, was elected Vice-President of the International Association in June 2009. Furthermore, it has established close relations with the Greek Government and the New Acropolis Museum. In addition, the Swiss Committee maintains relations with international organizations involved in the cause such as UNESCO, the European Union and the Council of Europe.
