Global Institute for Water, Environment and Health - GIWEH The Global Institute for Water, Environment and Health (GIWEH) is a Swiss, non-profit, policy research institute, formed in March 2007.

It was formed under the initiative of Swiss, European, African and Middle Eastern scientists who graduated from several Swiss Universities as well as their professors. It is a dynamic think-tank fostering local and regional cooperation, enhancing technical abilities and capacity building of different stakeholders and working closely with the most vulnerable groups of society to target the 2030 Sus

tainable Development Goals. Our strategic goal is to strengthen our contribution to the United Nation’s 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda through a focus on water, mainly integrated water resources management, governance, and interaction with other SDG goals.
