Recently, Our lovely curator got the opportunity to attend the Annual Shapers summit held in the beautiful city Geneva, Switzerland! 🇨🇭

The summit was not only a gathering of diverse minds but also a celebration of the power of unity and collective action. Her journey to Geneva allowed her to connect with like-minded change-makers from around the globe, each armed with a unique vision to create a better world.

This summit inspired, challenged, and encouraged to think beyond boundaries. Engaging in thought-provoking discussions, attending impactful workshops, and exchanging ideas with passionate individuals gave a profound sense of purpose and direction.

Global Shapers Palo Alto Speaker Series Committee is organizing a Women in Tech virtual event on Wednesday, October 12th from 7-8:30p.m PST.

We’ll be talking to Pocket Sun, Co-founder and Managing Partner at SoGal Ventures about her experiences as a female / diversity leader in the tech and investing industry, about leadership, unconscious biases, building and fostering diversity and ubiquitous innovation.

The Global Shapers Palo Alto Community, an initiative of The World Economic Forum, in collaboration with the Speaker Series Committee, is organizing a Women in Tech virtual event on Tuesday, May 24th from 6-7:15 p.m PST. We’ll talk to three incredible women in the tech industry about their experiences, equitable chances for immigrant women, female leadership in the corporate tech world, and resources for women’s tech education.
We’ll have a 40-minute panel discussion followed by a 10-minute Q&A session, followed by 30-minute breakout rooms where you can meet the speakers and ask any questions you have.

The World Economic Forum Global Shapers Palo Alto Chapter is hosting an interactive online panel on how to join a non-profit board, with private sector leaders who are volunteering their time and talents at top non-profits. Our goal is to increase diverse representation of youth and young leaders on non-profit boards.

There will be an opportunity to network with organizations that are recruiting for board members as well.
