On World Refugee Day, we recognise and honour the courage and strength it takes to leave your culture, home, families and friends to seek safety and a better future.

No one is safe until the most vulnerable among us are. When people are forced to flee their homes, we all have a role to play. Ensuring protection for LGBTI refugees strengthens communities, promotes stability, and saves lives.

In 2026, as LGBTI movements around the world continue to navigate both progress and backlash, solidarity remains one of our most powerful tools. Pride spaces are where communities come together across identities and borders to stand stronger together.

In a time when anti-rights movements are increasingly organised and coordinated, our response must be rooted in unity, care, and collective action. Let us continue to strengthen alliances because solidarity is the foundation of our movement.

We were proud to participate in the Intersex Futures Summit in Bangkok, Thailand, a critical gathering that brought together intersex activists, advocates, and community leaders globally to collectively envision the future of the intersex movement.

The summit provided a critical space for reflection, strategy, and collaboration on the opportunities and challenges facing intersex organising globally. Discussions focused on strengthening movement sustainability, expanding leadership, addressing funding gaps, and developing innovative approaches to resource mobilisation that place intersex people and organisations at the centre of decision-making.

Together, participants reaffirmed a shared commitment to building a stronger, more connected, and better-resourced intersex movement for future generations.
