#ليبيا: بمناسبة ، نشرت اللجنة الدولية للحقوقيين ومنظمة رصد الجرائم في ليبيا تقريراً جديداً يكشف كيف يساهم الاتحاد الأوروبي والدول الأعضاء فيه في تغذية انتهاكات جسيمة لحقوق الإنسان بحق المهاجرين واللاجئين وطالبي اللجوء في #ليبيا.

يتعاون الاتحاد الأوروبي والدول الأعضاء فيه مع خفر السواحل الليبي ويموّلونه وهم على علم بأن الأشخاص الذين يتم اعتراضهم في البحر يُعادون بشكل منهجي إلى ليبيا، حيث يتعرضون للتعذيب والاحتجاز التعسفي والعنف الجنسي والإعادة القسرية.

تدعو اللجنة الدولية للحقوقيين ومنظمة رصد الجرائم في ليبيا #ليبيا إلى وقف هذه الانتهاكات ومنعها والتحقيق فيها ومعاقبة مرتكبيها، وتدعو الاتحاد الأوروبي والدول الأعضاء إلى التراجع عن اتفاقياتهما بشأن "الهجرة غير النظامية" وتعليق الدعم المقدّم للسلطات المتورطة في الانتهاكات.

: To mark , the International Commission of Jurists and رصد الجرائم في ليبيا - Libya Crimes Watch published a new report exposing how the European Union and its Member States fuel egregious human rights violations against , refugees & asylum seekers in Libya.

The EU & its Member States cooperate with and fund the Libyan Coast Guard, knowing that people intercepted at sea are systematically returned to Libya, where they face torture, arbitrary detention, sexual violence & onward refoulement.

The International Commission of Jurists and رصد الجرائم في ليبيا - Libya Crimes Watch call on to stop, prevent, investigate & punish these violations, and on the EU & its Member States to rescind their "irregular migration" agreements and suspend support to authorities implicated in serious abuses.

#مصر: خلص الفريق العامل المعني بالاحتجاز التعسفي التابع للأمم المتحدة إلى أن احتجاز مصر للاقتصادي السياسي الدكتور عبد الخالق فاروق على مدى تسعة عشر شهراً يُعدّ تعسفياً وينتهك حقوقه في الحرية، وحرية الرأي والتعبير، والمحاكمة العادلة، وعدم التمييز.

اعتُقل الدكتور فاروق في عام 2024 بعد نشره مقالات انتقد فيها السياسات الاقتصادية للحكومة. وقد أُدين وحُكم عليه بالسجن لمدة خمس سنوات. وخلال احتجازه، وُضع في عزلة شبه تامة، وحُرم من الحصول على الدواء والتعرّض لأشعة الشمس وممارسة الرياضة.

تدعو اللجنة الدولية للحقوقيين، المفوضية المصرية للحقوق والحريات، ولجنة العدالة (Committee For Justice) السلطات المصرية إلى الإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عن الدكتور فاروق.

: The UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention finds that the 19-month detention of Egyptian political economist Dr Abdel Khaleq Farouq is arbitrary and violates his rights to liberty, free expression, a fair trial & non-discrimination.
Dr Farouq was arrested in 2024 after publishing articles criticizing the government's economic policies. He was convicted and sentenced to 5 years’ imprisonment. He was held in near-total isolation, denied medication, sunlight & exercise.
The International Commission of Jurists (ICJ MENA اللجنة الدولية للحقوقيين), Egyptian Commission for Rights and Freedoms (المفوضية المصرية للحقوق والحريات), and Committee For Justice call on to release Dr Farouq immediately and unconditionally.
