The training was held as part of the Supporting Peace in Yemen through Accountability, Reconciliation, and Knowledge Sharing project, implemented by SAM for Rights and Liberties in partnership with the Abductees' Mothers Association, and funded by DT Institute.
In their statement, participants emphasized the importance of engaging religious preachers and guides in peacebuilding efforts, developing a reconciliatory religious discourse that rejects hatred and incitement, and supporting pathways toward transitional justice and national reconciliation.
