YMI IMPACT | A HISTORIC DAY OF SERVICE
Today marks a historic impact day for Y’s Men International.
The Time of Fast (TOF) Project – Y’s Village, implemented by the YMI Middle East Region, was officially inaugurated and seven new homes were handed over to homeless widows and their families in Kathigapally, Kerala, India.
The project also includes a Community Centre, creating a shared space to support livelihood activities, community development and a more secure future for the beneficiary families.
With support from the YMI Time of Fast Fund and the remarkable mobilisation of resources by the Middle East Region, approximately USD 170,000 was raised to make this transformative project a reality.
The project was inaugurated by Hon’ble Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. Past International President A. Shanavaskhan, TOF Committee Member Pilson Louis, and leaders and members of the Middle East Region joined this memorable occasion.
Special congratulations and appreciation to IPRD Pradeep John, RSD community service Sherring Thekkekara ,Land Donor Ym, Philip Varghese and Project Coordinator Jobi Joshua, whose leadership and commitment helped turn this vision into reality.
