As IELA continues to grow and evolve, we approach an important moment for the association and its leadership.

Looking ahead, the upcoming IELA Congress in Sun City will mark the next chapter, with elections taking place during the General Assembly to appoint a new Board of Management, including the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson roles. This will be a key moment for members to help shape the future direction of the association.

We extend our heartfelt thank you to those who will be concluding their mandate; their commitment, expertise and steady guidance have made a lasting contribution to the development of IELA and the strength of its global network. We are deeply grateful for their time, work and dedication over the years. At the same time, we look forward to welcoming the next team of leadership.

🌎The countdown is on to Global Exhibitions Day 2026!

This year’s celebration takes place on Wednesday June 3rd and the theme “Exhibitions Drive Opportunities” could not be more fitting. IELA and its worldwide network always stand ready to show that exhibitions bring people together, spark fresh ideas, and help communities and businesses prosper.

The 41st IELA Congress & 13th Partnering Event will take place in Sun City, South Africa, from June 24th to 28th, 2026.

The IELA Congress runs from June 24th - 27th, bringing together IELA members for high‑level discussions, knowledge exchange and community connection.

This is followed by the 13th IELA Partnering Event, taking place on June 27th - 28th, which is accessible to non‑members and offers structured one‑to‑one meetings alongside informal networking.

📈Did you know that the global event logistics market will exceed $100 billion by 2030? Why so huge?

Because behind every great event or exhibition, there’s a massive logistics operation that most attendees never see.

Consider a big international trade show: literally hundreds of tonnes of exhibits, stands and equipment criss-cross borders from multi-storey booths to delicate prototypes. Without expert logistics, none of it would reach the venue, let alone on time.
