A new chapter for sustainability at IELA 🌱

Meet Louise Belasco Vigliandi, the new Chairperson of the IELA Sustainability Working Group.

She’s stepping into the role with a clear ambition: to make sustainability less of an extra task and more of a natural part of how we work, collaborate and create value across our industry.

And the focus? Turning ambition into action.

From practical tools and shared best practices to a Sustainability Roadmap and the IELA Sustainability Pledge, the Working Group is looking at ways to help members take meaningful steps forward, wherever they are on their sustainability journey.

There’s plenty more to explore, and we’ll be taking a closer look at the Pledge soon. 👀

For Louise, though, it all comes back to learning from each other, sharing experiences and moving forward together.

💬“Our ambition is simple: to turn sustainability from an individual challenge into a collective opportunity for IELA and the exhibition logistics industry.”

Welcome to the new role, Louise! 🌿

🌍Is your country on the IELA map?

After the energy and success of the in Sun City, one thing is clearer than ever: the IELA community is strongest when every region has a voice in the room.

Now, we’re looking ahead and outward.

IELA is inviting exhibition and event logistics companies from white spot countries - countries where IELA does not yet have member representation - to discover what a membership can open up.

Because joining IELA is about more than being part of a global association. It’s about building trusted partnerships, increasing visibility, accessing new business opportunities, sharing expertise, and connecting with a community that understands the challenges and pace of our industry.

📢For companies in unrepresented markets, this is a chance to become a key local connection point within a global network, bringing your market knowledge to the table while opening doors for collaboration across borders.
