The dehumanizing narrative around refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, and people who are internally displaced or stateless sets back the protection of vulnerable people.
There are more forcibly displaced people around the world today than at any other time in modern history.
People who have been uprooted from their homes often face further struggles on their journey to find safety, including a lack of access to essential needs like clean water, food, shelter, personal security, and health care.
We provide medical humanitarian care to people on the move, from treacherous migration routes in the Americas, to Libya and the Mediterranean Sea, to transit camps and detention centers. We also bear witness and speak out against harmful government policies that shut out vulnerable displaced people, including EU policies and those of multiple US administrations.
