The State Council has announced the lifting of the measures at Geneva’s borders as part of the security arrangements for the G7 summit. This measure will come into force on Thursday 18 June 2026 at 06:00.
Furthermore, from 3.30 pm on Wednesday 17 June, exit from Swiss territory into France via the Chancy 1, Monniaz and Landecy border crossings will no longer be restricted to holders of a permit.
