🐶💔 URGENT

Just days ago, Pouppy — a sweet Maltese Bichon boy of 1 year and 3 months, weighing 5.3kg — was living on the streets of Geneva. He was being used as a prop for street begging, a form of animal trafficking that exploits dogs to provoke sympathy and generate money. Tied up all day, drugged, never walked, never played. No water, no food, no love.

Everything changed thanks to an incredible group of women who stepped in and brought him to safety. 🙏🏻

He is vaccinated, microchipped, and in good health — but his past has left deep marks. Behind those sad eyes is a gentle, affectionate soul who is only just discovering what it means to be loved. Because of his past life, Pouppy is fearful of men. For this reason, we are looking exclusively for a woman or a couple, with infinite patience and a very gentle approach.

He has a lot of energy and will need to be neutered. He also must be gradually and kindly taught to be alone — having been tied up constantly, this will take time and care.

But give him a little time and a lot of heart, and he will become the most loyal, loving, and joyful companion you’ve ever had. 🤍

RILEY LOST A LEG, BUT NOT HIS HOPE 🍀

Four dogs were rescued by our friends at from Ödemiş municipal shelter in Turkey. And among them was Riley.

They first noticed him because of the way he moved. They thought his leg was broken, but as always with shelters, there is little to no information until the dogs are finally safe and seen by a vet.
The reality was worse. 😓

Riley is only around 1.5 years old. His leg had been broken for months, most likely after being hit by a car, and left completely untreated. The bones healed on their own, but not correctly. The nerves were gone, his paw was badly damaged, swollen, and he had already adapted to walking on three legs.
On top of that, he tested positive for diseases and was covered in ticks… yet through it all, he remained so gentle, calm, and trusting.

After everything he had been through, they had to make a decision for his future. Saving the leg was not possible, amputation was the only option.
Riley had his surgery. And only one day later, he was already up. Walking. Adjusting. Moving forward as if nothing could stop him 💪🏻

Today, Riley is a sweet, friendly, and incredibly resilient 3-legged boy. He is not in pain. He is not defined by what happened to him. He is simply ready to live a normal, happy life 💕 And trust us when we say — this boy is pure joy and sees every human as a friend.

But the reality is that dogs like Riley are so often overlooked, and as a tripawd, his chances of being adopted are much lower. 😔

He doesn’t need your pity — he needs a home. 🏡 Don’t let his three legs fool you into thinking he’s anything less than whole 🤍

ADOPT SARABI 🤍

In China, every June, thousands of dogs are killed at the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. Sarabi was one of them — stuffed in a sack together with two other dogs, waiting for a fate she didn’t deserve. Thankfully, all three dogs were brought to safety. 🙏🏻

At first she was very fearful, but slowly, with patience and kindness, she learned that not all humans bring harm. Once she did, she blossomed. 🌸

Sarabi is a gentle, affectionate little soul. Well-socialized, quietly loyal, the kind of dog who stays close and loves deeply. At 9.5kg she may be small in size, but she has so much love to give.

She’s been through the unimaginable and she’s still choosing to trust. After everything she has endured, Sarabi deserves warmth, safety, and a place to finally call home 🩷🏡.

Aldo’s story begins in one of the darkest places imaginable — the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, where thousands of dogs endure unimaginable suffering each year. 😔 But Aldo is one of the lucky ones. Rescued by our incredible partner rescue , he made it out alive… 🙏🏻

This beautiful boy is around 4–5 years old, a medium-sized mixed Border Collie with the most charming markings, like he’s wearing two white socks. 🤍

But it’s not just his looks that make him special…

Aldo is incredibly friendly and affectionate, both with people and other dogs. He does well in a group, plays gently, and brings a joyful, easy-going energy wherever he goes. 🐕

With his playful spirit and good energy, Aldo would be the perfect companion for an active lifestyle, whether it’s long walks, outdoor adventures, or just enjoying life by your side. 🌿🏃‍♂️🐾

He finds life tough in the shelter, we would love to find him a loving home.

After everything he’s been through, Aldo deserves a home filled with kindness, safety, and love. 🏡❤️

The dog behind Hope For Dogs

Some dogs quietly wait… and too often, they get overlooked. 🐕

Annie (formerly Annita) was one of them. A beautiful, 4 year old, big, tan-coated girl — the kind of dog people too often pass by without a second glance.

She once lived in the yard of a high school, loved by many, until one day she had to leave. After some time in temporary care, she came to us in Giannitsa, where she spent over a year in an enclosure. She was safe, she was loved… but she was bored, and more than anything, she was longing for a home of her own. 😔

Then one day, everything changed.

A wonderful family living by the beach in Greece reached out to us. They had been thinking about adopting, just waiting for the right moment. When they saw Annie’s photos and realized she was in Giannitsa — a town very close to their hearts — they knew it was a sign. They came to meet her, and not long after, they returned to take her home. 🦮🏡

Today, Annie lives a life we always dreamed for her. She shares her days with her loving parents and her two brothers, in a beautiful hotel by the sea. 🌊 Watching her now, it’s hard to believe she was ever waiting… it feels like she has always been part of their family. 🤍

This is why we never stop believing. 💪🏻

MEET FRANCO 🐶

Franco is one of the very first dogs welcomed through our new partnership with a shelter in China 🇨🇳 that rescues dogs from the meat trade — a very important step for us, and a life-changing chance for him. 🙏🏻

Franco is a 4-year-old Beagle weighing around 14kg. He is sterilised, microchipped, fully vaccinated, cat tested 🐱 and has successfully passed his titre test. 💉🩸

He was still just a young puppy when he was abandoned at a local pet shop with a painful abscess on his neck and a serious infection (➡️ swipe to see the video). Instead of helping him, the owner decided to sell him to dog meat traders. 🥺 Thankfully, rescuers stepped in just in time. After receiving treatment, Franco made a full recovery.

Despite his joyful and carefree nature, Franco then spent years living in a Chinese shelter, mostly in a small, bare room. Yet he never lost his love for life and was always grateful for even the shortest moments outdoors. 🙌🏼

He has now moved to a boarding facility in Beijing where he enjoys more space, more attention and is already starting to blossom.

Franco is a friendly, well-balanced dog who gets along well with other dogs. Brave, curious and affectionate, he is not shy or broken, just a happy boy who has waited far too long for his forever home. 🥰

He would make a wonderful family companion for anyone looking for a cheerful, loving and easy-going dog ready to bring joy into their life. 🏠💕

MINA STILL WAITING 🤍

It’s hard to understand how a dog like Mina is still overlooked…

She was once just another invisible soul in a crowded shelter in Van, Turkey, about to be thrown into an open area with 1000 dogs to her death! 😓 (👉🏻 swipe left to see the videos)

When took her out of there, she was only 10 months old, sick, and vulnerable. But Mina didn’t give up, she recovered quickly and showed her gentle, resilient spirit. 💪🏻

Today, she is a healthy, happy young girl, around 14 months old, 18kg, and spayed.

Mina is a mid-size husky (44cm), with a calm and balanced personality — not the typical high-energy profile people expect. She has a soft nature, an easy temperament, and she simply enjoys being around people.

She’s not asking for much… just a home, a routine, and someone who will choose her. 🙏🏻🏡

After everything she’s been through, she deserves to be someone’s first choice.

Meet Naila 🤍

A 3-4 year old Golden Retriever mix, Naila was living in a village in Greece where life was far from gentle. A kind, local family fed her, watched over her, and made sure she wasn’t alone.

Despite her quiet nature, she became the target of children who threw water and bottles at her. 😣
Fear slowly took over, and when she began barking to protect herself, the municipality threatened to take her away. Our volunteers stepped in and took her to safety.

Naila was terrified. She would come close… but couldn’t be touched. So we brought in a trainer, who patiently helped her begin her healing journey.

Three months later, Naila is transforming. ✨

She can now be touched. She walks on a leash. 🦮She’s discovering what it means to trust again. She’s gentle, social with other dogs, and eager to keep progressing. Still a little shy but every day, a little braver.

She is now ready for a home that will show her what love and safety truly feels like. 💝

Naila is 28-30kg, healthy and sterilized. She is a big dog but she doesn’t require a huge home, just kindness, patience, and someone who sees the incredible dog she’s becoming.
