Fundaziun Uccelin

Fundaziun Uccelin The foundation was set up in November 2015 by well known Swiss chef Andreas Caminada.

The aim of the foundation is to work towards a sustainable high level of fine dining quality in Switzerland and abroad. In order to reach this, the foundation fosters Swiss and foreign culinary talents in service and kitchen by providing them the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in their respective crafts. This is done through intensive training (a 20 week training program) which

includes internships to be pursued at restaurants of great chefs and important producers all around the world.

Yesterday, presented his final product as part of his journey – and it was brilliant.

His presentation brought together culinary traditions from the Netherlands and Switzerland – all in one jar of Dutch-style pearl onions, refined with Swiss herbs and vinegar.

had the pleasure of tasting it and shared his impression:

With "Eat, Plan, Learn", didn’t just cook – for his final product he created something valuable for his peers!

A thoughtful and practical book designed to support skilled and passionate chefs in managing themselves, setting realistic goals, and growing into confident leaders in a demanding professional environment.

Chapters like “Future Planning & Self Discovery,” “Freedom of Ideas,” and “Economical Planning” reflect the heart of this project: empowering chefs to lead with clarity, creativity, and intention.
