Our Davos-worthy Insights are inspired by the conversations, ideas, and perspectives
shared on stage at the Davos Communications Summit!

Today's takeaway:
A crisis doesn't start when people notice it.

Most reputational crises don't begin with a viral post or a headline. They start with small warning signs: unanswered customer complaints, inconsistent messaging, frustrated employees, or stakeholders who stop trusting you.

Happy World PR Day! 🎉

Here's to the people who know that the right words can open doors, build trust, shape reputations... and occasionally save the day. 😉

To celebrate our profession, we're welcoming new corporate members to the WCFA community with a special World PR Day offer: 50% off first-year membership until 31 July.

Because great communicators deserve a great community.

Were you watching England vs. Norway, or British Airways vs. Norwegian Air? 👀

One of the smartest communications moments around the FIFA World Cup didn’t happen on the pitch.

Instead of simply posting match-day content, British Airways and Norwegian Air turned a football rivalry into a brand conversation. A playful bet to swap Instagram logos if their national team lost quickly evolved into a cross-brand collaboration that captured global attention, sparked engagement from other airlines, and generated tens of millions of views.

Brands are not forgotten. They are replaced.

🔙 Looking back at the Davos Communications Summit & Awards 2026, the panel “Brand Now or Be Forgotten”, moderated by Tatev K. Simonian, brought together Victoria Kennedy, Mbalenhle Bhengu, Laura Baxter and Ayodeji Razaq to explore why the future belongs to brands that stay authentic, human and connected.

A panel does not end when the panel ends.

It leaves a question behind - still moving from person to person long after the session is over. Into the coffee break, the foyer, the gala dinner, the next decision.

That’s why people come back to Davos Communications Summit!

💡 “ will not replace the , it will reveal who is .”

🔙 Looking back at the Davos Communications Summit & Awards 2026 and one of its most discussed questions: 🤖 Will replace human communicators?

Moderated by Sophie Reymond, CEO at SRPR, the panel brought together Alexandra Tsyliya, Iskren Lilov, Lima Alhawamdeh and Thomas Netousek to explore the future of AI, creativity and communication.

The conclusion was clear: AI can generate, optimize and accelerate – but people remain the ones who bring vision, creativity and meaning.

can generate. It can’t originate.

It can produce many variations. But it can’t detect nuance, challenge assumptions, or see around corners.

Paul Holmes said it at the Davos Communications Summit: "AI has to take the backseat. Authenticity and human truth are required"

Authentic ideas. Creativity. Ethical judgment. Strategic foresight. Empathy.

That’s the edge.

🔙 A look back at one of the most impactful discussions at Davos Communications Summit & Awards 2026: “Under Pressure: Crisis Management in 2025.”

It's reminding us that in today’s world, crises move in minutes, emotions shape narratives, and trust remains the strongest defence.

Thank you to our outstanding speakers Katja Fašink, Diego Biasi, Lebo Madiba, Maxim Behar and Sergii Bidenko for sharing their frontline insights.
