25 years after disc replacement surgery: where does the evidence stand today? 🤔

Save the date for the upcoming Global Spine Journal Journal Club on October 1, 2026, at 5 PM (PST) as leading experts revisit a much debated topics in spine surgery: disc replacement versus fusion. Together with the Seattle Science Foundation and AO Spine, this session will explore the latest evidence on cervical and lumbar disc replacement, long-term outcomes, patient selection, and the economic impact of treatment choices. 💡

The session will be moderated by renowned spine surgeons Scott Blumenthal, Rick Guyer, and Jack Zigler, whose pioneering work has shaped the evolution of disc replacement over the past quarter century.
